I empty-udeb-package

All reports of empty-udeb-package for the archive. The extended description of this tag is:

This udeb package appears to be empty, and its description does not say that it's a metapackage or a package. This is often due to problems with updating debhelper *.install files during package renames or similar problems where installation rules don't put files in the correct place.

If the package is deliberately empty, you can avoid this tag by using one of the following phrases "metapackage", "dummy", "dependency package", or "empty package" in the long description of the udeb.

Severity: minor, Certainty: wild-guess

Check: files/empty-package, Type: binary, udeb

This tag is marked experimental, which means that the code that generates it is not as well-tested as the rest of Lintian and might still give surprising results. Feel free to ignore experimental tags that do not seem to make sense, though of course bug reports are always welcome.

This tag has not been emitted in any package tested by Lintian.
